How The U-2 Dragon Lady Is Landed With The Help Of 140-Mph Chase Cars!

(Scroll down for the video)

Landing a U-2 isn’t a simple undertaking as should be obvious in this video! The U-2 Dragon Lady spy plane is exceptionally delicate to crosswinds, which, together with its propensity to skim over the runway, makes the air ship famously hard to land. As it methodologies the runway, the pad of air gave by the high-lift wings in ground impact is pronounced to the point that the U-2 won’t arrive unless the wing is completely slowed down. An arrival U-2 is went with on the ground by a chase car and a helping U-2 pilot canceling the points and diminishing  stature as the aircraft plummets.
